Our History
Jason Brennan, President
Jason Brennan opened Fine Tune Auto Service in 2000 as a family owned and operated repair shop focused on the customer. Jason has attended three years at the University of Illinois at Chicago for electrical engineering and has a technical certificate in automotive/truck/industrial technology from Universal Technical Institute in Glendale Heights, IL. He began his career at a Volkswagen dealership and has worked at several other repair shops prior to opening Fine Tune Auto Service.
In the summer of 2006, Fine Tune Auto Service outgrew its previous location in East Hazel Crest. In September 2006, we hired 2 full-time technicians and moved into a 4-bay location in Lansing, Illinois.
Mike Kladis, Service Advisor
Mike started his career as an Automotive Service Advisor in 1998 at a Volkswagen dealer. Here he achieved an advanced certification level and qualified for VW's "Brand Standard" for advisors. In 2002 he moved to a GM dealer where he earned the "Mark of Excellence" award for certifying at a master level. Later he took over as assistant service manager at a Jaguar/Volvo dealer and attended the Jaguar University to certify in the product line and attend technical training. He then moved to a Ford/Porsche dealership managing 30 technicians and 7 service advisors. Finally, in 2009, he grew tired of dealership politics and decided to move to the independent world.
Mike was attracted to Fine Tune Auto Service because of our strong ethical code, the variety of vehicles we work on, the potential to grow with the company, and the more personal relationship he is able to have with the customers. He is now using his years of experience to oversee shop operations and estimate jobs, dispatch work, and see to it that customers get the service they need and want, on time and correct the first time.
